Congratulations to Miss Patricia Edmonds, a Woodlawn High School graduate and University of Virgina Sophmore, for obtaining her very own patent entitled:
Apparatus and Method for Distinguishing Paper Articles from Plastic Articles: This apparatus can determine which types of materials that could be used in particular recycling centers. Patricia has been working on this patent for several years and her dream finally came true! She has also won many awards and commendations during her tenure at Woodlawn High and the Warrior Family is very proud of her present achievements at the University of Virginia. She was the SGA President at Woodlawn and was involved with many other associations. We're looking forward to hearing more about Patricia's accomplishments as well as other Woodlawn alumni. Kudos to Patricia for a job well done and keep up the good work!
